Frank Ski’s 10th Annual Celebrity Wine Tasting and Live Auction

A lot can happen in a decade. We hit milestones, accomplish goals, get older [sorry, but it’s true], but for one man, 10 years marks a decade of triumph. Radio personality, restaurateur, and philanthropist, Frank Ski, has something big to celebrate this year. Annually, Ski brings together a notable crowd of celebrities, entrepreneurs, and contributors of the community to raise funds for the Frank Ski Kids Foundation at his Celebrity Wine Tasting and Live Auction. Accompanied by wife, Tanya, and Music Mogul, Kevin and Erika Liles, Ski joins his love of wine and philanthropy to present one of the biggest social events of the season. And while the event has been exceptional in its own regard, this time around marks the 10th year of the annual soiree. On Sunday, December 8th from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Frank Ski’s Restaurant and Lounge in Buckhead, Ski along with Atlanta’s most generous givers will applaud a decade of success.

With a big year to celebrate, Ski called for a big winning crowd.  The highly anticipated guest list is under wraps for now, but previous years’ attendees have included Stevie Wonder, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Mayor Kasim Reed and Martin Luther King III, to name a few. As a little taste and teaser of the upcoming event, the tag team of the entertainment industry’s elite hosts has been announced. Rapper, entrepreneur and actor Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges will co-host with UpFront Records founder Devyne Stephens, while the host committee boasts an equally fabulous team.  The hosts will share the honor of leading guests through the wine tasting, which will feature rare and vintage varieties such as Silver Oak, Opus One and The Hess Collection. The live auction will showcase premium items, with past auctioned pieces being authentic sports memorabilia, giant Schnauzer’s, an Arabian horse, a harmonica autographed by Stevie Wonder and an exclusive VIP Opus One wine tour and dinner in Napa Valley, California. All proceeds from the auction and wine tasting go to further support the Frank Ski Kids Foundation.

The Frank Ski Kids Foundation is an opportunity to provide children with the necessary education and hands-on experiences vital to furthering their ambitions. The foundation is not only responsible for hosting the swanky wine tasting and live auction, but also Ski’s annual “Youth Bowl” football game and awarding scholarship money to university bound students. Over $1 million has been raised in the last 10 years, allowing Frank Ski to continue to promote change and make a significant, observable difference in the lives of our future.
