“Midnight Train” to Gladys Knight’s Signature Chicken & Waffles

Guests gathered for a night of entertainment and celebration during the Grand Opening of Gladys Knight’s Signature Chicken & Waffles in Cascade on Thursday, September 5th. The private affair included a red carpet covered by TV/Radio personality Ramona DeBreaux, a prix-fixe menu including selections such as the restaurant’s staple dish, the Midnight Train (chicken and waffles), and live performances by Ce Ce Peniston, Dope Crisis, Mylah, Howard Hewett and Joey Sommerville. Actress and host for the evening, Vivica A. Fox, led the celebration as guests greeted guest-of-honor Gladys Knight, who “made her mark” on the new location with cement prints for the restaurant’s impression path. The star-studded attendees included Actress Terry Vaughn, Record Producer Jazze Pha, Mali Hunter, Singer Eddie Levert, Congressman David Scott and more.
