Biltong-Bar Buckhead Announces Lunch and Brunch Service with New Menu
Biltong Bar – Buckhead, the newest location of the South African gastropub introduced by restaurant group True Story Brands, is excited to announce that they will begin lunch and brunch service this week. Executive Chef Matt Weinstein and his talented culinary team have crafted an expansive lunch menu along with weekend-only brunch features for the Buckhead location.
“When we created our lunch menu, we knew we wanted to bring convenient options to the area for those looking to easily grab a delicious meal,” says Justin Anthony, owner of True Story Brands. “Whether you’re with a large group of co-workers or looking for drinks and a bite with friends, we have something for everyone.”
The expanded lunch menu showcases a collection of sandwiches, salads and large plates. Guests can enjoy the Grain Salad featuring quinoa, farro, bulghur, arugula, charred broccoli, peppadews and green goddess dressing as well as the Gatsby sandwich which features grilled hanger steak, roasted garlic aioli, beef fat fries and black pepper jus, served on a toasted baguette. Large plates include Shawarma Shrimp and Grits with cheese grits and crispy okra.
In addition, the accompanying brunch features will highlight a variety of sweet and savory options alike, including French Toast with brûléed banana and chartreuse caramel as well as a South African-inspired Fried Chicken Biscuit featuring boerewors sausage, gravy and a fried egg, all served on a cheddar biscuit.
Complimenting the new lunch and brunch food offerings is an expanded craft cocktail menu developed by Beverage Director Sean Gleason. Guests can sip on the newest additions including the Proper G & T featuring gin, clarified lime, and a house tonic syrup, served on draft along with the Fatal Attraction made with v.e.p. green chartreuse, grilled pineapple, tarragon, lime and sparkling wine. Weekend brunch wouldn’t be complete without the classics including a house-made bloody mary and mimosa.
Lunch will be served Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and special brunch menu items will be offered in addition to lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
