Spring Into Shape On the Atlanta BeltLine

Spring is upon us! The sun is coming out and the weather is warming up, so put on your sneakers and head over to the Atlanta BeltLine. The Atlanta BeltLine has so many healthy activities planned for the month of March. These are some of the events you definitely should check out:

Pick Up The Pace With The Run.Walk.Go! Club

Date and Time: March 3rd at 7pm
Location: Bell Street Burritos

The Atlanta BeltLine’s Run.Walk.Go! Club is hosting a free running event for those looking to train for the club’s running series, or just looking to get fit. The event is hosted by Bell Street Burritos and they will be handing out $5 coupons to participants. There will even be chips and salsa available after the run.

Find Your Zen With Yoga

Date and Time: March 9th at 6:30pm and March 13th at 12pm
Location: Historic Fourth Ward Park

Relax and unwind with a free 60 minute yoga class led by CorePower Yoga. It’s open to all fitness fitness levels – just don’t forget to bring your water and yoga mat!

Get A Healthy Dose Of Boot Camp With FitWit

Date and Time: Every Saturday at 8:30am
Location: D.H. Stanton Park

Looking to see if boot camp is right for you? This is the perfect introduction to the class and you get to enjoy it while you’re outdoors. It’s free and open to all fitness levels. Be ready to break a sweat with this 60 minute workout!

Learn To Ride A Bike

Dates: Saturdays (dates and times vary)
Location: Kipp Strive Academy

Throughout the month, the Atlanta BeltLine will be offering classes for kids and adults to learn how to ride a bike. Adult classes are for ages 12 and up and more information can be found here. Details on the children’s classes can be found here. It’s perfect timing to learn because the Atlanta Moon Ride is right around the corner!
