The Client

Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign is ending child hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. The campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. The nationwide initiative also engages the public to make ending child hunger a national priority.

The Ask

To help promote one of the largest fundraisers for the No Kid Hungry campaign in Atlanta, Taste of the Nation, featuring the city’s culinary elite to include a VIP experience, live and silent auctions, samplings of signature fare and spirits and more. Leading the event was Honorary Chef Cat Cora (TV personality and restauranteur) and Honorary Chair Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridgets (entertainer, restauranteur and party of Chicken + Beer).

The Results

The event received a variety of local accolades both before and after the festivities which included placements in magazines, newspapers, radio and TV segments where chef demonstrations were coordinated to help provide the target audience a fun and exciting look into the heart of the event. As a result, the event raised $795,000 that evening with all funds going towards the nonprofits local efforts to end childhood hunger.
