Who’s Your Daddy?

A day that always seems to creep up on us every year has come and gone, indeed. It’s one of those holidays that often go by too quickly, yet come with a very important opportunity — to recognize an influential person in our lives. Someone we can lean on when times are bad and who has always been there for us no matter what. That’s right, we’re talking to all the dads out there that impact our daily lives.

To make your special day feel a bit more lasting this year, here are a few timeless, inspirational quotes from some “famous” fathers. We hope all of you had an enjoyable and loving Father’s Day!

“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.” | Mark Twain

“I have found the best way to give advice to your children is to find out what they want and then advise them to do it.” | Harry S. Truman

“I think that my strong determination for justice comes from the very strong, dynamic personality of my father … I have rarely ever met a person more fearless and courageous than my father … The thing that I admire most about my dad is his genuine Christian character. He is a man of real integrity, deeply committed to moral and ethical principles. He is conscientious in all of his undertakings … If I had a problem I could always call Daddy.” | Martin Luther King, Jr.

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” | John F. Kennedy

“Even though your kids will consistently do the exact opposite of what you’re telling them to do, you have to keep loving them just as much.” | Bill Cosby

“Above all, children need our unconditional love, whether they succeed or make mistakes; when life is easy and when life is tough.” | President Barack Obama
