The Bert Show’s Big Thank You

Today is Veterans Day, and today and everyday we reflect and thank the service men and women who fight for our freedom. In an effort to say thank you, The Bert Show launched the ‘Big Thank You’ campaign, giving thanks to all the men and women that serve our country by providing every service person deployed outside the United States with a handwritten Thank You letter on Thanksgiving Day.

Since its inception, The Bert Show’s “Big Thank You” campaign has collected more than one million handwritten letters. School systems, corporations and celebrities across the country have shown their support by writing personalized letters and encouraging students, customers and fans to do the same. The Bert Show has even received calls from First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton, congratulating them on the Big Thank You campaign’s overall success in previous years.

This year, The Bert Show’s annual Big Thank You campaign reached its goal by receiving letters from 49 states, including Puerto Rico and Canada. Over 175,000 letters were sent out on Monday, November 10th in order for soldiers to receive the letters on Thanksgiving Day.
