Sunshine on a Ranney Day & Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta Team Up For Dream Bedroom Makeover

On Wednesday, October 28th, Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating home makeovers for families with children who have long-term illnesses, brought some sunshine to a deserving Snellville family with the help of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta co-stars Lori Allen and Monte Durham. The nonprofit revealed a princess-themed room makeover for 4 year-old Peyton Greene who suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a rare and significant type of Leukemia.

Over 75 guests joined in the celebration including Loganville Middle School cheerleading squad and cast members of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta! Peyton arrived in style with a princess crown, greeted by “prince charming”. Sunshine on a Ranney Day transformed Peyton’s room into a princess-suite with designs by Bridals by Lori, who included special details such as a “Sparkle Station” filled with flower-girl dresses from the Atlanta boutique and custom sketches provided by couture bridal designer Lazaro. With the help of additional sponsors such as Mohawk Flooring and Reliable Heating and Air, Peyton now has a beautiful room fit for the princess she is.
