Cigars, Cognac and Carter

Imagine stepping inside a British-inspired red telephone booth and entering a secret passcode on a rotary dial phone, which grants access to a hidden passageway. Enter a dimly lit space dressed in mahogany and leather, as the scent of cognac and cigar smoke dance around the room. No, we aren’t conjuring up an Al Capone film. We’re recounting the Hublot Atlanta private viewing party for the Limited Edition Classic Fusion Shawn Carter Collection.

On Sunday afternoon, guests were welcomed into Atlanta’s very own speakeasy, Prohibition, for a private viewing party hosted by Lifestyle Specialist, Kenny Burns. The soiree catered to personal guests of the host, including TV producer, Princess Banton, regarded restaurateurs, Giovanni Di Palma and Justin Anthony, recording artist, Memphitz, and celebrity wardrobe stylist, Renaldo Nehemiah. Guests were greeted with cognac courtesy of D’USSE and cigars provided by Arturo Fuente. As people arrived, the Hublot Atlanta team was on site to present the “Shawn Carter by Hublot” collection. The limited edition, 45mm timepieces boasted black alligator straps with a yellow 18K gold timepiece and a black ceramic version. Attendees swooned as they had the chance to don the timepieces while they mixed and mingled with one another.

With Hublot lifestyle movie clips on the flat screen and sounds from Jay-Z on the speakers, it was an evening even Capone couldn’t dream up. Good thing we have the pictures to prove it.
