3 Team Bonding Activities To Do This Summer With Your Colleagues

Our office puts a huge emphasis on team bonding events. Most recently, we took an office outing to see Pitch Perfect 2. Team building activities allow us to take a break from the workday and to get to know each other a little better. As a matter of fact, team building activities can help boost productivity in the office, improve morale and encourage creativity.

With summer right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get out and try something new with your coworkers. These are a few activities that you can encourage your coworkers to participate in as a group:

Unwind on the patio during Happy Hour at Davio’s

The month of June is a beautiful time of the year in Atlanta. The weather is really starting to warm up during the days, but the evenings are still pretty mild. Stop by Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse  bar for Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm. Enjoy a specialty cocktail or a glass of wine on the patio. Hors D’oeuvres are also half-priced, and if you plan to stay for dinner, you can order an entree off the new summer menu.

Grab your bikes and experience the Atlanta Moon Ride

There are so many benefits to getting involved with the Atlanta Moon Ride. First of all, the proceeds from the event go to Bert’s Big Adventure to help send terminally ill kids to Disney.  This guilt-free event can help you cut some extra calories, grab some fresh air and get a few extra laughs with your colleagues. As a matter of fact, costumes are encouraged. You and your colleagues can collaborate to create a theme for your team. Don’t forget to take plenty of photos!

Sample the Chloe’s Frozen Fruit

If your office has tendency to be on the busier side this time of the year, take a quick break to cool off and sample the many flavors of Chloe’s Soft Serve Fruit Co. The frozen pops won’t kill your summer diet since they are only made from fruit. As a matter of fact, coworkers with special dieting needs won’t feel excluded as the frozen pops are diary free, gluten free and they are vegan friendly. You can pick up the various flavors at Kroger.
